RAISED MONEY IN 2009

Apart from the fabulous annual Wig Party fundraiser itself, we are always working on other ways to raise money for our chosen charity.

Early in 2009 a big team took part in the Crusaid Walk of Life.

In August 2009, our committee members took part in the 5k Adidas Women's Challenge.

Even though it was a Sunday and an early morning start, all the sideline supporters were energetic and most importantly awake!

The Wig Team's triumph was filmed for broadcast on BBC TV (you may not have seen our team due to all the other competitors getting in the way!).

After completing in fine fettle all headed for a well earned lie down in the park!
