NAT is the UK's leading charity dedicated to transforming society's response to HIV. We provide fresh thinking, expert advice and practical resources. We campaign for change.

Your support will ensure that we can continue to improve public understanding and awareness so that people know how to protect themselves and others from HIV infection, and people living with HIV are diagnosed early, treated with respect, dignity and justice, and receive the highest standard of care.

NAT has been shortlisted for Campaigning Team of the Year.

Recent successes include:

• Undertaking a major piece of research into the employment experiences of people living with HIV and using the results to secure an amendment to the new Equality Act which prohibits questions about disability/long-term health conditions prior to a job offer.
• Persuading SaBTO (Advisory Committee on the Safety of Blood, Tissues and Organs) to undertake a review of their lifetime bans on blood donations for any man who has ever had sex with another man and anyone who has ever injected drugs or been paid for sex.
• Securing a change to the Crown Prosecution Service guidance on hate crime to ensure that people with HIV receive the same level of legal protection as people with other disabilities.
