Josh Rafter – Chairman

Josh Rafter has lived a pretty jam-packed life so far. From his early years in Nigeria, where he was born, to the summer of fun as a tennis and swimming coach at Camp America, one thing is clear – he has an enthusiasm for life in bucket loads. Which is probably what led him to where he is today, as Wig Party Chairman and managing director of Outlet Property Services.

A few years ago (probably more than he’d like to admit), Josh began working at Outlet as an office manager. During his first few years there he juggled his day job with a media career, which came off the back of his time in Channel 4’s Big Brother, and included work for Virgin Radio and Attitude magazine. Meanwhile, he had raised the company’s profile and was climbing the ladder, taking the lead on projects such as Outlet’s website and having an impressive impact on the success of the business. So, in 2006, he bought it. As you do.

Not content with just making loads of money, he likes to raise it to help others as well. Josh dedicates his time to causes that make a difference to the lives of others. In the past he was a patron of Crusaid, but has also helped raise money and awareness for the NSPCC, Battersea Dogs Home, Macmillan Cancer Care and of course, The Wig Party of which he is a tireless supporter.

In his down time Josh is businessman and philanthropist turned intrepid traveller and a super keen sportsman (as well as being quite the surf dude in his younger years). At the office, his formidable, infectious zest and passion for life and work has won him the respect of customers and staff members, most of whom have been part of his work team for more than five years.

The stuff that keeps him busy:

The stuff that keeps him sane: Yoga, meditation, friends and family!
